The Moments series deals with the transience and depth of fleeting moments. The works are based on photographs that capture personal memories. Concrete scenes are captured in detail on paper in ballpoint pen, while abstracted colored pencil elements capture the mood of the experienced moment. This interplay of photorealism and abstraction catches the moment both visually and emotionally and invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the moment.
